In 2008 I competed for the 1st time at the Missouri Taxidermists Competition and Convention held in Columbia MO, and I was very pleased with the results. I won Best of Show in the Professional Division that year, and that win just drove me to compete more. Since then I have actively and successfully competed in multiple states, and even at the World Taxidermy Championships in May, 2009. My hard work and willingness to further my education is paying off with several awards.
